Holiday Inn Express & Suites Puyallup Announces New General Manager

Jason has accepted the role of General Manager at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Puyallup, WA.

With over 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Jason joined the Hollander Hospitality team in 2011, as Housekeeping Manager at our newly built Fairfield Inn & Suites, Puyallup. In 2014, he transferred to our Best Western Premier, and after serving a year there, he transferred once again to one of our full-service properties, Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport, in the same role. Since then, Jason has not only maintained a fantastic Housekeeping department at Crowne Plaza, but has also contributed toward the growth and development of the Housekeeping departments at our Delta Hotels by Marriott Hotel in Everett, as well as our Holiday Inn Express in Puyallup. He was recently promoted to Lead Housekeeping Manager, supporting all Hollander Hospitality, but when a GM position opened up at the Holiday Inn it became increasingly clear that he would be a great fit.

In his new role as General Manager, he is looking forward to expanding his knowledge of the hospitality industry and taking on all of the new responsibilities that his new role entails.

When asked why he was chosen for this promotion, Jason's manager Loren Terpstra said, "He leads his teams with enthusiasm and works very hard to make sure our guests’ expectations are met. Combined with his 20+ years of hospitality experience Jason has an amazing ability to lead and motivate his teams. This recent move into the GM role was just another natural step in his professional progression."

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is also quite fond of traveling, and loves to see and explore new places.
