Crowne Plaza Portland Downtown Announces New Senior Sales Manager

Meliza has accepted the role of Senior Sales Manager for our Crowne Plaza Portland Downtown in Portland, OR! Meliza has been with Hollander since 2005! Throughout her career with Hollander she has held the positions of Front Desk Agent, Front Desk Supervisor, Front Desk Manager, and most recently Sales Manager. Meliza's education has included graduating from the Academy Pacific Travel College in Hospitality Management. She also received her Associate of Science in Business Administration from Mt. Hod Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Eastern Oregon University. Meliza is excited to take on new responsibilities and challenges to expand her experience and help to develop her skills. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her son, taking weekend trips and experiencing new restaurants and different parts of Portland. Meliza's manager, Joel Root, said that "Meliza is a motivated sales professional who is able to connect with clients on a personal level. She presents creative solutions that are customized to our clients' specific needs, and follows up with them to ensure that they are satisfied at every stage of the sales process.
