Hollander Hospitality Announces Tiara Rivers as General Manager of Holiday Inn Express & Suites Puyallup

Puyallup, WA - April 21, 2025 - Hollander Hospitality is proud to announce the promotion of Tiara Rivers to General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Puyallup. Tiara, previously serving as Guest Service Manager, has been a cornerstone of exceptional service and team leadership at the property, and we are thrilled to see her step into this new role.

Tiara’s promotion is more than just a new role; it’s the culmination of her incredible 24-year journey with Hollander Hospitality. She first joined the team in 2001 as a Guest Service Representative, where her passion for hospitality quickly became evident. Over the years, she advanced to Guest Service Supervisor, then to Guest Service Manager, earning each promotion through her commitment, leadership, and the genuine care she shows for her guests and colleagues.

Tiara's journey in hospitality has been driven by a passion for connecting with people and a desire to make a meaningful difference. Her career path is an inspiring testament to dedication and growth, marked by her commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences that leave lasting impressions. "When someone remembers my name because of how great I made them feel during their stay—that's my greatest achievement," Tiara shares.

In her new role as General Manager, Tiara is excited to take on a more active leadership position, contributing to the overall success of the property. She draws inspiration from the mentors who have held this position before her, stating, "I look at every person who has had this role and how much I have learned from each of them, and I think, 'I can do that!'"

She treasures time with her family, enjoys camping during the summer months, and is committed to giving back to the community through volunteering at local food banks. As an active participant in Chamber events and other community activities, Tiara embodies the spirit of Puyallup, supporting and celebrating its people and businesses.
