Courtyard by Marriott Welcomes New Guest Service Manager

Aretha recently accepted the position of Guest Service Manager at our Courtyard by Marriott Tacoma Downtown.

Aretha started her journey in the hospitality industry as a Night Auditor in Marriott hotels. Since then, she has learned the ins and outs of different departments at a variety of hotels, all under the Marriott brand. Prior to joining our team, she held an Assistant General Manager position at Courtyard by Marriott in Georgia.

In her new role, Aretha is looking forward to getting to know everyone on the team. She is excited for the opportunity to grow with the company and form new professional relationships.

An interesting fact about Aretha; She is from Guyana, which is the only country on the continent of South America with English as its national language. She also has a love for nature and the outdoors, and enjoys visiting national parks.
